List of Images of Documents in the Class PC 1 and Other Classes |
||
As is well known, The National Archives at Kew (TNA) have a simply amazing collection of British historical materials. Their staff is consistently helpful, and they have pioneered in making their collections available through digital photography. One of their most extensive digital projects is that which it has undertaken in conjunction with Anglo-American Legal Tradition (AALT). Normally, clicking on any of the links below will bring you to the AALT website and to the specific page of the document listed. You can navigate between the pages either by using the arrows that AALT provides at the top of the image or by returning to this page, which will remain open in a separate tab or window. In a few cases, the images are stored on the Ames website. In these cases, clicking on the image will not cause you to leave the Ames website, and the images will be displayed in an HTML frame similar to that of AALT. All of these images are also from the TNA; a few are not from the class PC 1. Whether the images are on the AALT site or on the Ames site you may download and use a single copy of the image only for purposes of private study, research, or teaching. Any other use requires the permission of AALT or of Ames, as the case may be, and of TNA. The extraordinary co-operation of AALT and of its director, Professor Robert Palmer of the University of Houston, is gratefully acknowledged. © Crown copyright images reproduced by permission of The National Archives, London, England.
