List of Images of Pages of Printed Cases and Other Documents |
Not surprisingly, the British Library has the largest collection of Privy Council printed cases in the world. They also have a superb Imaging Services Department. All other things being equal, we have used their images in preference to others’. We would also like to acknowledge the cordial cooperation that we received from the Library’s staff. Clicking on any of the links below will bring you to an image of the page listed embedded in an html frame. You may download a single copy of the image for private study, scholarly, or educational purposes only. You can navigate between the pages either by using the arrows at the top and bottom of the image frame or by returning to this page, which will remain in a tab or separate window. The images are large, so that the small print can be read. For detail and downloading you can get an even larger image to open in your browser by clicking on the link in the upper-right hand corner. Sometimes Firefox will refuse to load these larger images, though it can be persuaded to change its mind. We have had better luck with Internet Explorer.
