 |
| Alternative Names | Francesco Bruni |
| Biography/Description |
| F. obtained his doctorate in utroque at Perugia sometime between 1450 and 1464. He was a judge in Siena in 1493–4. It was there that he published, in 1495, his treatise De iudiciis et tortura (TUI 1584, t. 11.1), which enjoyed a great printing success. TUI 1584 associates him with San Severino (prov. Macerata). Bettoni says simply that he came from a noble family of that city. |
