An anonymous French apparatus on the Decretum. It was composed c.1206–10 and reveals a strong interest in the doctrines of Roman law. The designation as a Summa is traditional ever since Schulte discovered the work in a Bamberg manuscript, but the manuscripts found more recently transmit it as an apparatus, i.e. together with the text of Gratian’s Decretum. Additionally, Stickler has indicated that the work is closely related to the Glossa Cusana. |
